1 C chopped celery, 1/4 C carrots, 1/2 C green lettuce
tips:
- putting the veggies in a container and freezing them helps to minimize prep. time in the morning, and I feel so much better when I get a green smoothie with my breakfast each morning.
- try looking through a juicing recipe book for ideas to use in your smoothies...by blending the fruits and veggies you will be getting the benefits of the fibre as well as all of the vitamins.
- adding fresh herbs such as : cilantro, parsley, basil, mint or ginger add flavour and are good for you.
